Today I took a day off from work and played "hooky" and fished with Tom Shepard again We wasted a lot of time trying to find some pogies including a run along the beach and back to the cruise ship basin looking for pogies. Where are the pogies? They should be in in numbers by now and on the beaches reliably. We found them in the basin and with the cruise ships gone was easy to get a load in one tos, I just wish I hadn't wasted the time running the beach and stuck in the port.

We had consistent action all morning slow trolling pogies at 8A and had our limit of kings by 10:30 AM. We also picked up 2 two small, but legal, Cobia slow trolling. Another load of smoked kingfish and fried cobia for dinner, yummy!

Tom couldn't hang for pictures to attend a little league all-star game.
