Today we fished this side of the stream for dolphin with Tom and Thomas Shepard who are no strangers to the "Goin Off". It was great having them with us again. Got a little bit of a late start this morning and wasted a good deal of time trying to find some pogies. It's still a bit early for the pogies, but, they should be in in numbers soon and make light tackle fishing for kingfish in the early morning a regular occurrence on the "Goin Off". From the sound of the radio today it was slow again today and I can personally say that the lack of wind made it as hot as Hades.

We only had two other knockdowns all day with one pulled hook and one mono leader cut off. From the looks of the leader it was apparently either a small Wahoo or a sizeable kingfish from the length and speed of the first run.
