Caught Aboard the:

" Goin Off "

5/6/2006

Today my sons, a co-worker Frank Martin and myself decided to go across and fish the other side for yellowfins and whatever else we could drag up. Unfortunately mother nature and NOAA didn't get their act together and the breeze never did let off. We did manage to get on a few flocks of birds and one one pass managed to get the one nice yellowfin. We also found a floating pallet about 76 nm off and picked up the four gaffer dolphin. In 200' of water back on the Port Canaveral side of the stream we found some birds working a school of dolphin along a weed line so we obliged them and stopped for some groceries. Had a great time even though we and the boat took a beating in the 3'-4' seas on the other side.

Final tally for the day:
1 63# Yellowfin Tuna
3 Skipjack Tuna
4 Gaffer Dolphin &13 Bailer Dolphin (not pictured)

Franks 63# Yellowfin Tuna
