Caught Aboard the:

" Goin Off "

10/23/2002

Just a quick report of our piscatorial pursuits today. Left at the usual time and cleared the locks @ about 7:00 AM after netting a bunch of mullet of various sizes. Ran offshore on a heading of 130 degrees and began slow trolling in about 95' of water. Caught 15 dolphin ranging in size from a few pounds up to about 15 pounds, 2 kingfish of about 8 & 15 pounds and a couple of sharks. Weather was beautiful and seas were calm. I know they aren't big, but, they taste the same and Mahi in October can't be passed up.

Hooked up the fine lockmaster at the PC locks with a couple of the schoolies. I know he and his family enjoy eating fresh Mahi as we do.
