Today my crew was Mike Krenn and his father who was visiting again from Pennsylvania. The weather turned out to be beautiful and it was great having them back together again with me on the Goin Off.

Started the morning getting some Pogies for live bait. There are a few around and in small schools unlike a few weeks ago. A little persistence paid off and off to the Cities Service Tanker wreck we went. Spent a busy few hours catching one amberjack right after another. Mike had asked that I do my best to wear his father out and thanks to the hungry amberjacks on the wreck I'd say it was mission accomplished. Dave's highlight of the day came with a 45# amberjack landed on 20# spin tackle after about a 35 minute battle.

Final tally for the day:
9 Amberjack with a 3 fish limit kept for the table
