Another Beautiful day and a limit of Snappers.
Today my fishing buddies were my Greg Clifford his friend Nick from Pennsylvania, Joe Wright and his son from New Mexico. We started out the day at one of my favorite bait wrecks picking up bait to go catch a few snapper and the Lane Snapper bite was on. Had a heck of a time catching the grunts we wanted but ended up with a 5 gallon bucket full of healthy sized Lanes. Went back to the same general area I fished a week ago and the bite was a little slower that the previous week but kept us busy most of the day and filled our bag limit of Red Snapper with a few Atlantic Sharpnose throw in for good measure. The weather today was
absolutely beautiful for this late in the year and we cruised home at 33
Knots reaching my dock by 6:30. An hour of filleting awaited me and I
sent the guys home with about a bunch of dinners of tasty red and lane
snapper. Another great day on the water on the Goin Off! |
