Half day for Andrew, Ngan, Hue, Myanh and John
from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Today my fishing buddies were Andru Heckman, Ngan Truong, Hue Truong, Myanh Lai and John Pham vacationing from Cincinnati, Ohio. Andru and Ngan were also celebrating their first anniversary as well and the mission was to put together enough fish for a big family feast.
First thing we did today was to run down the beach and obtain a bait well full of pogies which was accomplished in short order after one toss of the net.
We started our day slow trolling just off of the beach and after an hour or so we had only had one fish lost at boat side and had only had a couple of other hits. I decided to run offshore to Pelican Flats and it turned out to be the right call and we were able to catch two cobia and two kings along with a couple of bonito and small Mahi-Mahi and a remora.
Had a smooth 35 knot cruise back to the port and a fine family feast assured and smiles all around.

Final tally for the day:
2 Kingfish to 25#
2 Cobia 40# and 30#.
1 Mahi-Mahi
2  Bonito
1 Remora

The happy crew with their first dinner guest.

Hue with one of today's Bonito.

John and Hue with a nice Cobia and dinner is assured!

John, Andru and Hue team up on a King while Myanh cheers them on.

John with a nice 20# King.

Andru  and his bride Ngan with a very respectable first cobia.

Today's crew from Cincinnati all smiles and ready for a feast!
