John Bennett and sons bend some rods on big kings!

    Today my fishing buddies John Bennett and his sons Rick and Matheu out for a day of rest and relaxation and to try to put together a mess of fish for a fresh fish dinner. One toss of the net the well was full of lively baits that we would soon be feeding to the hungry fish a 8A reef.
    We arrived to 8A reef and were greeted with a slow but steady bite with a few double headers and bunch of missed of opportunities. The highlight of the day was a triple header of larger than average Kingfish weighing in at 36, 26, and 20 pounds on a certified scale.
    We finished our day with a cooler full of tasty Kingfish filets and a great day offshore with  fabulous weather, and a great catch of fish for the dinner table.

Final tally for the day:
8 Kingfish limit between 10 and 35 pounds.
1 Bonito released after a quick picture.
