A Mahi-Mahi day for Donnie and Joe!

Today my fishing buddies are no strangers to the Goin Off in fact these guys have been out on the Goin Off  almost as much as I have. Joe is visiting again from New Mexico and Donnie is always looking for and excuse to go fishing.
Today's plan was to go offshore trolling for Mahi and put Joe on a big one and for once the fish gods were with us in that our first bite of the day turned out to be a personal best for Joe and 35 pound Bull Dolphin. He hit a swimming naked ballyhoo witha half ounce chin weight in 105 feet of water due east of Port Canaveral.

Final tally for the day:
6 Mahi-Mahi to 35 pounds.
1 Barracuda with a malformed backbone released.

Joe bowed up with his personal best Mahi-Mahi!

A new personal best 35 pound Mahi for Joe and some delicious vittles!

Ever see a Barracuda with a backbone like this?
