Today my fishing buddies the Tyler family from Canada with Nick's girlfriend Koni, back again this year for a repeat of last years fun day offshore. Last year the pogies didn't cooperate and were no where to be found. This year was a different story and one toss of the net the well was full of lively baits we would soon be feeding to the hungry fish a 8A reef.

We arrived to 8A reef and were greeted with a wide open bite witha number of double headers and plenty of opportunities. We were able to catch or limit of ten kingfish pretty easily and for the fun of it went on to catch and safely release another four kings. We finished our day drowning some ballyhoo for Mahi and were rewarded with an eight pounder to add to the list of dinner guests.

Another great day offshore with fine folks, fabulous weather, and a great catch of fish for the dinner.

Final tally for the day:
10 Kingfish 8 and 15 pounds.
1 Mahi about 8 pounds.
