Half day for Shelly, Whitney, Brandon and David

Today my fishing buddies were Shelly, Whitney, David and Brandon for a half day on the briney blue. We procured our bait down the beach near the Hilton hotel and everyone pitched in in doing the pogie pick up.
We ran to 8A reef and began our day of slow trolling pogies. The bite was pretty slow but we managed to put enough in the fish box for a number of tasty meals.
Unfortunately our trip was cut about a half hour short when my hydraulic pump on my autopilot decided to disassemble itself and drain all of the hydraulic fluid out of the steering system. Just another minor annoyance to be repaired on a boat. We limped home at 20 knots while i used the trim tabs and engine to steer and all arrived safely in Port Canaveral with fish stories and a tale to tell.

Final tally for the day:
4 Kingfish to 20 pounds

Whitney bowed up while Shelly offers words of encouragement.
