Today my  fishing buddies were a long time friend Mike Krenn, his brother Dave and wife Andrea and their good friends Brad and Samantha Prasky. The plan of the day was to get them some action since everyone except Mike were new to blue water fishing.
    First stop was beach side  for a net load of Pogies and then off to Pelican flats we went to slow troll some Pogies for kings. Action was not hot nor heavy, but we did manage to bag 9 kings for our efforts. We then decided after the action slowed down to near nothing to go on the troll for Mahi but unfortunately the Mahi were nowhere to be found and all we were able to catch trolling was a barracuda.

Final tally for the day:
9 Kingfish
1 Barracuda released.
