Linda and David (mother&son) with Daniel
catch a bunch of Amberjack.
Today my fishing buddies were mother and son Linda and David with David's best friend Daniel from Illinois for a day offshore deep sea fishing. Since the water temperature still hasn't come up to the desirable temperature for Cobia we decided to go play with the Amberjack again. Thank goodness the AJ's were available again and I think we ended up catching seven or eight in our day offshore. Unfortunately, most of the fish were too small to keep because of the size limit, however everyone aboard was able to catch their fill and end up with sore arms and shoulders. We finished our day by running inshore and spent a couple of hours sight fishing for Cobia to no avail. We did see turtles and were visited by bottle nosed dolphins more than once. Another fun day aboard the Goin Off.
