Another year goes by and Mike Krenn and father back again.

Today my fishing buddies were Mike Krenn and his father down for a visit from Pennsylvania again. Since fishing has been slow due to the unusually cold water it was decided to go play with the Amberjack. They're fun to catch and the small ones are really good to eat. We stopped and picked up a few pinfish at Sunrise Marina in case the AJ's were going to be finiky, however, finiky they were not and for about 4 hours we had no-stop action butterfly jigging them up. Every pass we were able to hook up, most of the fish were very small and under the size limit so most fish were released to grow up and fight another day.

Another great day of fishing with old friends and a few tasty treats for the table

Final tally for the day:
12 Amberjack with 3 kept for the table.
1 Bonito

Dad's bowed up on spin tackle.
