Today my fishing buddies were the Mason and Mary Williams, friend Mitch Varnes and my bud Donnie Poston. Started the day as usual getting a bait well of pogies for a little live bait and then on a hunch I headed the Goin Off north of the cape.
     Was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake by heading north of the cape with the fleet staying south of the cape but persistence paid off handsomely with a state limit of healthy cobes in state waters and a personal best Red Drum (redfish) release for Donnie.
