A half day adventure for the Wintle-Pagan
Family and a last minute Cobia cobia saves the day.

Today my fishing buddies were a wonderful family from Canada to hopefully continue to cash in on the annual Cobia run.
Again to make it easier on everyone driving over from Orlando and no need to get out early we departed from Bluepoints Marina at 9:00 am.
We were able to get a net full of pogies on our journey south of the port near the Steeple in Cocoa Beach and ended up approximately 20 miles south of the port in 70 feet of water. We worked hard all day looking but they were hard to find today and we went a little overtime in our quest for dinner. Fortunately the extra effort paid off with a nice Cobia to take home for dinner.

Final tally for the day:
1 Cobia
